Get evaluated before you start training!
Importance of Athlete Evaluations
In order to implement the optimal training program based on each athlete's individual needs, we must first acquire some baseline information. Not only does this help us learn more about the athlete, but it will serve as our initial data when we re-evaluate and check progress periodically throughout training.
During the 70-minute evaluation we will:
- discuss athlete's injury history, short and long-term goals, typical diet, training habits, level of commitment, tournament play, etc.
- teach our dynamic warm-up and proper injury prevention & recovery techniques
- complete series of tests to determine athlete's current physical ability and potential as well as their levels of coachability and mental toughness
